GAJAR KA HALWA

A quick and easy version.

Preparation Time : 5 min.
Cooking Time : 6 min.

Serves 2.

Ingredients
2 cups grated carrots
1/4 cup milk powder
5 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cardamom (elaichi) powder
1 tablespoon melted ghee

For the garnish
1 tablespoon sliced pistachios and cashewnuts
1 edible silver leaf (varq)

Method

1. In a glass bowl, combine the ghee and grated carrots. Cover with a lid and microwave on
HIGH for 4 minutes.
2. Add the milk powder, sugar, cardamom powder and mix well. Cover with a lid and
microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.
3. Serve hot, garnished with the sliced pistachios, cashewnuts and varq.
